Washington County Republican Party (WCRP) 2016 Resolution
The 2016 General Election is of great importance to Utahns and American citizens. Issues such as Supreme Court nominees who will uphold the constitution, a national defense strategy that keeps our country and allies safe, and sensible and fair immigration policy that protects our borders are crucial matters at hand. Lower taxes and governmental responsibility and transparency are commitments necessary to the health of our nation. And we must ensure our 2nd Amendment right to keep and bear arms remains intact.
After eight years of Democrat-driven agenda and rule, we believe that the policies put forth by Donald Trump and Mike Pence will reflect the overwhelming majority of Republicans in Washington County and restore a Republican governance that is fair to the individuals of this country, state, and county.
Hillary Clinton’s long, dishonest record and the current agenda of she and her colleagues will bring a social and economic decline that will limit individual freedom and liberty in America.
This is a pivotal election year, and the winner of the 2016 presidential race will shape the direction of our nation for years to come. For these reasons, we, the Washington County Republican Party, enthusiastically support Donald Trump for President and Governor Mike Pence as Vice President of the United States, along with the rest of their cabinet and all Republican candidates for federal, state, and local office.
Sat. Oct. 8th, 2016 is the day to come out to Town Square in St George and meet your GOP candidates, ask questions, discuss issues that you are concerned about and hear from each of them (or their representatives).
We are only one month away from one of the most important Presidential and General Elections in our lifetime!
Bring the entire Family for the FREE entertainment, hot dogs, carousel rides, bounce houses, cotton candy, cupcakes and more. Did we mention that it is all FREE?
This event is being sponsored by the Washington County Republican Women who do an outstanding job here in Southern Utah.
We hope to see you at Town Square Park on this beautiful fall Saturday in St George!
